About Hoxxie
Who am I?
I was born the nerodivergent youngest daughter to a family of four, in a rural town in Appalachia in early 1998. I am a Geolologic mapper by trade. I consider myself a genuine optimist. Im a very passionate person with big feelings finding joy in a world where its not always so easy.
I am a working geologist and geology is my passion, but I'm a person who lives for my free time. :) I spend a lot of time now diving back into my older interests and new hobbies. I see this webpage as a way to share my thoughts, field work adventures, and the things I create, on a platform free of social media toxicity. I plan on exploring parts of my life in more depth on the blog page, sharing some of my research adventures, as well as just nerding out over lighter topics. I hope I can pass along some of the life lessons I've learned. I've always said my life strategy is to learn from other people's mistakes!
